The Google Chromecast streaming TV gadget has been out for a while in the UK now. So how has it developed since its release - and should you spend £30 to put Chrome on your TV?
Most obviously, the best thing the gadget had going for it - the price - remains just as enticing as ever. This thing is just a third the price of an Apple TV, and is only bettered by the Sky Now TV box which is a heavily subsidised £10.
The downsides though are also obvious. The app selection remains a little lacking, and while many of the big hitters are there like Netflix and iPlayer, some of the more obscure options are still out of reach.
