Gordon Ramsay's 12-year-old daughter Tilly is to follow in her famous dad's footsteps – by presenting her own cookery show on TV (minus the swearing).
Tilly is spending the summer holidays preparing to demonstrate her culinary skills on the CBBC programme, which hasn't yet been named. (Rumours that it could be called 'How To Teach Your F*****g Kids How to Cook' have been scotched!)
In fact, Tilly's famously foul-mouthed dad – whose expletive-peppered rants inspired a show called The F Word – has even had a word with his daughter that she should keep her language clean.
Gordon, 47, said: "Tilly's only 12 and she's a sweetheart, so of course she won't be swearing. I have told her that they are not clever words but sometimes they just slip out."
Tilly's show, which is being shot in the US, is expected to air within the next two years.
It will also involve her 13-year-old brother Jack, who will help to film it, and his twin sister Holly, who is in charge of sound.
Gordon said: "There's quite a lot of rivalry in our house, especially when it comes to cooking. Tilly's a very good cook. In fact, she is the number one in the household."
Tilly, Gordon's youngest child with wife Tana, is likely to have to divide her time between filming and schoolwork.
But former Girls' Schools Association president Dr Helen Wright warned: "She and her parents need to beware the negative side of celebrity.
"If Tilly is doing this because she is genuinely passionate about cooking, then great. If she is doing it to be famous, or if she feels she should emulate her parents, everyone involved should think again.
"Holidays are there for a reason – to allow children to determine their own pathways, and spend time out of a structured institutional setting."
The TV chef's business empire includes 24 restaurants with seven Michelin stars between them. However, it has faced financial difficulty, announcing losses of £6.4million last month.
In the past, Gordon has said he would be happy for his children to follow in his footsteps but he wouldn't teach them himself at one of his restaurants because he wouldn't want other staff to think he was giving them preferential treatment.
Gordon and Tana have four children - Tilly, twins Holly and Jack and oldest sister Megan, 15.
