Graduate Fashion Week 2013: Game-Changers From The Catwalk Shows
|

Graduate Fashion Week has kicked off at Earls Court and heads up because there's a whole new clique of crazy-cool designers showing on the catwalk.

Edinburgh was all about big boxy shapes, brights (hello yellow) and over-the-top knitwear. Names to mention? We're all eyes on Lauren Smith and Jeanie Muldownie - their womanswear collections are ultra-feminine meets super-cool.

Georgina Mullholland of University of the Arts Bournemouth showed a ballet-inspired collection complete with puffs of tulle and the floral accessories (think dreamy headdresses) were ALL drama. As for Kimberley Adam - her graduate show was beyond standout: graphic prints, neons, knotted headbands and JELLY SHOES. Too cool.

When it came to Northumbria University, we saw an array of graduate talent chomping at the fashion bit - Bryony Carrigan's pieces were to-die-for. The orange, blue and cream colour combo worked perfectly to create a line of luxe, sporty silhouettes. She's a girl showing us exactly how to do waterproof wears.

Graduates Sally Hewett and Victoria Irving also of Northumbria University had that whole A/W chic thing totally sussed. Sally with her soft shades and lavish furs, Victoria with a line of classic shapes and (almost) 50 shades of grey.

All of this, and they've only just got started...
