Sense of humour failure?

With Graham Norton back at the helm of the TV Baftas, things were bound to get a little more colourful than the previous few years.

And sure enough, his opening montage did not disappoint, as he took aim at the likes of Line Of Duty and equality at the BBC.

While most of the audience were in stitches at his jokes, one person who wasn’t exactly impressed was Strictly Come Dancing’s Tess Daly

The presenter had a face like thunder after Graham cracked a gag about Seann Walsh and Katya Jones’ infamous snog.

You’ll remember comedian Seann was snapped kissing his dance partner Katya in the street during last year’s series despite the fact they were both in relationships, sparking a huge tabloid scandal.

As he kicked off proceedings, Graham made light of the story in relation to the most recent series of Line Of Duty, remarking: “A more forensic and detailed interrogation of times, dates and mobile phone data hasn’t been seen since that time Seann Walsh got home late from Strictly practise.”

The camera then cut to Tess and co-host Claudia Winkleman, and while Claud saw the funny side, it appeared Tess most certainly did not.

Sure enough, people watching at home soon picked up on her unamused face too.

Awkward.
