These Chinese beach goers are not about to let thousands of tonnes of green algae ruin their day by the sea.
Whether they were swimming in it, playing on it or just throwing it around, the furry green stuff was no deterrent.
The snaps were taken at a beach in China's Qingdao, in Shadong province, on Thursday.

The algae is a non-poisonous green seaweed known as enteromorpha prolifera.
Authorities in the coastal city have had to remove more than 20,000 tons of it from the beaches since June 5.
