GTA 5 PC Version Confirmed In Rockstar North Job Advert?

It looks like GTA 5 might be coming to the PC after all.

Rockstar North's latest open-world mugging, driving, swimming, tennis, cycling, stock-trading, fashion and flight simulator is released on 17 September.

But so far all we know about are the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

Even the incredible-looking gameplay video debuted online yesterday was confirmed to have been running on a PS3, despite its next-gen alike graphics.

But now evidence has emerged that Rockstar may be planning a PC version after all.

According to reports, Rockstar posted a job advert in Leeds asking for a person "to help bring our latest titles to the PC platform".

The advert was pulled soon after, but was screengrabbed by Rockstar Watch:

"Rockstar Leeds are currently looking for a talented graphics programmer to help bring our latest titles to the PC platform. Working together with the other Rockstar studios, you will be responsible for maintaining the studio’s uncompromising quality bar, delivering the highest quality PC experience possible."

So it's not confirmed, but it looks like you might be able to enjoy GTA 5 on your computer before too long - we'd guess sometime in spring 2014.

For its part Rockstar said recently:

"We don’t have anything to share about the possibility of a next-gen or a PC platform release at this time and we are completely focused on delivering the best possible experience for the consoles people have right now."

GTA 5 will be set in the huge landscape of Los Santos, incorporating not only the familiar city streets, back alleys and highways from previous entries in the series but also oceans, countryside and the air above all three.
