Hal Douglas, a movie trailer voiceover artist, has passed away at the age of 89.
His daughter Sarah told the New York Times that Douglas, who created voiceovers for loads of Hollywood blockbusters, has died following complications from pancreatic cancer.

Hal provided voiceovers for many movie trailers, however his only known on-screen role was in Jerry Seinfeld’s ‘Comedian’ trailer, shot in 2002.
While the film itself wasn’t very successful, the trailer has been viewed over 700,000 times online.
He also provided voiceovers for festive flick ‘The Holiday’, narrating scenes where Cameron Diaz’s character feels as though her own life is a movie.
Despite working on numerous Hollywood projects, Hal preferred to work in New York studios and lived in the Big Apple until his death.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Francis Douglas, and his three children.
