Harry Potter Newborn Photoshoot With Screaming Mandrake Is An Example Of Perfect Timing

'I have never loved a photo so much in my life.'

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ll completely understand the impeccable timing of this adorable newborn photoshoot.

Parents Katherine and Jesse Oldfield, from Oregon, US, are huge fans of the famous wizard, so it came as no surprise a themed photoshoot was on the cards.

Their eldest son Sebastian starred as Harry Potter while his newborn brother played the Mandrake - the infamous plant that screams in the film.

“I knew it was key that Theodore would be crying for the shot,” Jesse told BuzzFeed News.

“Luckily, babies tend to do that.”

The couple’s photographer, Kelsey Clouse, said just as the family managed to convince their eldest son to keep his glasses on, Therodore let out a big cry.

Clouse shared the photo on her Facebook page and was shocked at how well it was received.

The cutest thing you will see on your newsfeed today! Hahahaha,” she captioned the shot

The photo, was shared nearly 90,000 times within 10 days of being posted on Facebook on 3 July - and Harry Potter fans are delighted with it.

“After posting it on my page, I had no idea it was going to go viral,” Clouse told Cosmopolitan.

“We were just ecstatic to see that. It was very exciting for them, and a pretty big successful and confidence-boosting thing for me.”

One fan commented: “As a Harry Potter freak, I have never loved a photo so much in my life.

“This is just amazing, definitely the best thing to ever cross my newsfeed.”
