Remarkable pictures were released on Friday showing the underground vault in London’s Hatton Garden Safe Deposit Company that was raided in April 2015. The burglary was described at the time as the largest in English legal history, the thieves making off with more than £14 million in cash and jewellery.
The gang used a drill to create a hole in a wall leading into the vault where they ransacked 73 safety deposit boxes. Four men were subsequently arrested; three were found guilty at a Woolwich Crown Court in the capital on Thursday.
