Hudson - who split from British Muse frontman Matt Bellamy last year - won the Entrepreneur of the Year gong at the Glamour Women of the Year awards, presented by Sir Philip Green. Hudson founded her online clothing company, Fabletics, last year.
She told the audience: "Thank you to Glamour... I started this company and the core comes from something I'm passionate about... It was one of the most rewarding things I've ever been a part of... I couldn't do that without an incredible team of people. It's fun and I get to express myself."
