Hayden Panettiere has been a busy girl. Not only has she just won an award for her potential as an environmental activist, but she's also been designing her engagement ring.
The actress only announced her engagement to heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko two weeks ago, but now she's been revealing all about her six carat diamond at the Environmental Media Awards, held in Burbank, California.
According to E! News, the Nashville star said: "(Montblanc) made me this amazing book where they did a bunch of sketches.
"I told them my idea over time and tweaking things here and there, it came to fruition."
If the word on the street is correct, the emerald cut ring has a price tag of $500,000.
The actress pitched up on the green carpet (yes, green - well it was an environmental event after all) ahead of the awards ceremony wearing a figure-hugging dress which combined lace with a bodycon-style look.
The daring dress even brought a splash of colour which its burnt orange lower half. The star finished her look with a pair of killer patent heels and a clutch.
The star received the Futures Award at the event, recognising her potential to be an environmental activist and according to E! Online she joked that "twerking is not going to solve global warming" as she picked up the gong.
