My husband and I decided since having our third baby that the spare bedroom was simply worth its weight in gold; which basically meant our two other daughters were going to need to bunk up... The only way this was going to be manageable was to make the transition as exciting as possible with a whole new bedroom for them to share! I'm so pleased with the end result I thought I would share some pics on here :)

Trying to find suitable bunk beds for a 2 and 4 year old is harder than you may think! We finally settled on this Parisot set because it has a stair case instead of a ladder making those midnight trips to the loo far safer! I managed to get this in the sale from The Kids Window and went for a middle of the range mattress from Mamas and Papas, I can totally recommend both for quality and comfort.

The Ikea shelving unit was already in the room but I replaced the storage boxes with plain pink to give it a new look.

These beautiful children's illustrations are The Royal Collection from Daisy and Bump. You may have spotted these already on my Instagram, these classic and elegant prints will certainly be treasured for years to come.

These wicker lined baskets come as a set of 3 from JoJo Maman Bebé and are a great solution for storing the girls ridiculous amount of cuddly toys!

The fabric letters are also from JoJo's and make a great feature now that wall space is limited!

The bedding is called Horsing Around Peony and is part of the Kids collection at Designers Guild. It's luxury to the touch (which isn't easy to find for kids bedding - most of it gives you an electric shock!) and is colourful enough to get the girls seal of approval. I really love this cushion...

The bold wool rug in lime greens and fuchsia pinks really brings the room together and is great quality at a very reasonable price! I picked this up from Room to Grow.

Some bits taken from Savannah's room - her personalised bag and my favourite photo from her first shoot with Mrs Shutterspeed.

And here are the girls after pre-school LOVING their new bunk beds! Let's see how the first night goes... My money is on them staying up all night swapping beds.
