'X Factor' 2016: Honey G's Audition Proves She's Definitely Going To Be One To Watch

We bet she's already through to the live shows.

We’re calling it now - ‘X Factor’ has already found this year’s Wagner, and her name is Honey G.

The larger-than-life hopeful will be seen trying out for the ITV talent show when the new series kicks off this weekend, and her audition is certainly one we’re going to remember.

Striding into the judges’ room, she introduces herself as Honey G from “North Weezy” (aka 35-year-old Anna Georgette Guilford from Harrow in North London), before spitting some rhymes to the slightly bemused panel.

However, things take an unexpected turn when she then launches into a full rendition of Missy Elliott’s ‘Work It’.

Obviously, Simon Cowell is less than taken with Honey G’s efforts, which clearly means that the other judges will probably delight in sending her straight through to Bootcamp.

Come October, we’ll eat our hats if she’s not one of the final 12, following in the footsteps of Stevi Ritchie, Rylan Clark-Neal and Johnny Robinson as the new ‘novelty’ act.

And quite frankly, we’re here for it.

‘The X Factor’ returns on Saturday and Sunday at 8pm on ITV.
