Hulk Hogan has fallen victim to a sick prank, after internet trolls targeted him with a fake post about Cheryl Fernandez-Versini.
The pro wrestler shared what he thought was a tweet about one of his follower's sisters, who they claimed was living with HIV, but was actually a cruel joke about the ‘X Factor’ judge.

The offending tweet, accompanied by a photo of Cheryl, read: “Hi @HulkHogan my sister is HIV positive can she have a RT please.”
Not knowing who Cheryl was, an unwitting Hulk shared the message, also adding his own comment.

He wrote: “Tons of love and positive prayers for your sis,Gods got her, everything will be good Only love HH. [SIC]”
After fans quickly pointed out his error, he deleted the RT, slamming the “sad” troll behind the prank.
“Why do so many people on Twitter get so wack, it’s really sad,” he said.
“I just don’t know who to respond to anymore, I’m out HH.”
The user who posted the original tweet, @MarkSingleton8, has since deleted his profile, having been branded “vile” by other Twitter users.
It is not the first time Hulk has fallen for a prank like this, previously sharing similar tweets about Madeleine McCann and Josef Fritzl.
