Hunger Games actor Stanley Tucci is to become a dad for the fourth time, he has revealed.

Speaking to US Weekly, Tucci confirmed that his wife Felicity is expecting their first child. Felicity is the sister of British screen star Emily Blunt, who welcomed her own first baby with husband John Krasinski in February this year.

The pair were introduced by Emily after she worked with Stanley on 2006 comedy The Devil Wears Prada, in which he played acid-tongued art director Nigel. They became engaged in 2011 and were married the following year in London.

"I'm very excited to be a dad. It's incredible," he told the magazine at a Mario Batali Foundation gala in New York, where he was guest of honour. "I'm most excited to have a baby with Felicity and for the baby to be healthy."

"The sex is of no concern to me," the Oscar-nominated actor said, before clarifying: "The sex of the baby, that is."

Stanley already has three children - twins Isabel and Nicolo, 13, and 11-year-old Camilla - from his 14-year marriage to Kate Tucci. He is also stepdad to her two children from a previous marriage. Kate died in 2009 after a battle with breast cancer.

The 53-year-old actor, who is familiar to moviegoers for his roles in The Lovely Bones, Easy A and The Devil Wears Prada, is currently best known for his role as Caesar Flickerman in the Hunger Games films.

Tucci admitted to talk show host Chelsea Handler that before auditioning for the role of Flickerman, he had never heard of the multi-million selling series, written by Suzanne Collins. It was Felicity, who works as a literary agent, who first convinced him to read the books.
