The grifters are back in town, scamming their high-flying and money-dripping targets in their usual, poker-faced fashion - the Hustle is on its way back for one final roll of the dice.
Mickey 'Bricks' Stone (Adrian Lester) leads the team in this eighth series of the BBC drama, joined for the final time by his fellow tricksters Albert Stroller (Robert Vaughan), Ash 'Three Socks' Morgan (Robert Glenister) and Emma and Sean Kennedy (Kelly Adams, Matt Di Angelo), through a last surge of cons - ranging from a gold heist to a slimming pill debacle.
In a sign that makers Kudos are determined to go out with a bang, big names joining in for this cast's final flourish include Sheila Hancock and Martin Kemp.
Adrian Lester, who is currently directing episode two of the series, said "Hustle has been a big part of my life for the last 8 years. The time is right for me to move on. I'm looking forward to seeing what tricks the gang get up to in this last series and I'm very pleased to be given the opportunity to direct one of the episodes."
Hustle is now being filmed around London and Birmingham and will be on our TV screens next year.
