Let's all pause for a moment and take time out to snigger at Joshua K Pinney, whose alleged attempt at identity theft earlier this year didn't quite go to plan.
According to KOMO News, the 30-year-old walked into a bank in Des Moines, Washington, dressed like this, saying he'd just been in an accident...
He then handed over an Oregon ID and asked for a new ID card.
Funnily enough, bank staff weren't fooled by his comedy get-up and called the police. When officers pointed out he didn't look anything like the man in the photo ID, Pinney allegedly looked up and said, "I know".
He was charged with second-degree identity theft, but failed to turn up for his court date last Thursday. Who knows? Perhaps he's been busy working on a more convincing disguise...
