Ikea
IKEA will launch their annual soft toy campaign to support UNICEF this half term, donating €1 to the charity from every sale of a cuddly toy, children's book or meal.
The yearly initiative will run from October 24 through to December 23, and monies raised will go towards helping to improve the lives of millions of children in over 45 countries.
The store is also hosting a range of children's events throughout the half term week, with a teddy bear day taking place across stores on Wednesday 26. Families can visit their local branch and enjoy bear-themed story sessions and teddy bears' picnic, as well as a bear hunt!
The Teddy-Bear Takeover is open to all, but costs apply to the teddy bear's picnic, with a child's picnic box costing £2.25 (with €1 being donated to the charity) and an adult box £4.25 (with €1 donation).
IKEA, UNICEF and Save the Children have worked in partnership since 2003 through the Soft Toy Campaign, and have so far raised a staggering €35.2 million for children around the world.
