'Fresh Prince of Bel-Air' star Alfonso Ribeiro and Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington were booted out of the 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' jungle in a surprise double eviction on Thursday night.

Alfonso - who played cousin Carlton on the hit 1990s US sitcom - left the show in seventh place, and admitted he was glad to be voted off.

He said while barely surviving several earlier eliminations gave him a false sense of hope, he was ready to leave. "I almost lost it back there," he said.

"I'm so ready to see my wife and (son) AJ - thank you for finally giving me my wish.

"I'd finally gotten to that place where I figured I was going to be there until the end, so I was upset, but I was like all right, here it is. I can't change it at this point so let me just keep a positive mind'," he said.

Sixth place Rebecca also said of her experience: "It was absolutely amazing. I was like Matthew [Wright] at the start, I was so scared of everything.

"The first night I was like wrapped in my sleeping bag with one eye looking out at everything. By the end I was embracing the bugs. I'm not a camping girl, I'm a hotel type of girl."

The pair both back Westlife star Kian Egan to be crowned King Of The Jungle.

"Kian is one of the nicest men I have ever met. I want Kian to win. He is the true King of the Jungle," Rebecca said.

'I'm A Celebrity' continues tonight at 9pm on ITV.
