Jack Wilshere edged closer to making his Arsenal comeback as he played for the first time since July 2011 for the club's under 21s at West Brom.

The England international, who hobbled off against New York Red Bulls in the Emirates Cup last year, played 63 minutes at the Hawthorns on Monday afternoon.
