'X Factor' winner James Arthur has reportedly suffered an "emotional breakdown" after becoming the target of death threats.
The news comes shortly after the 'Impossible' singer was diagnosed with acute exhaustion.
"James has really been struggling and is not in a good place with everything that has happened," a source told The Sun.
James is now allegedly seeking professional help to cope with the backlash against him following the homophobic rap that caused him to have a Twitter spat with fellow 'X Factor' finalist Lucy Spraggan.
And his use of the words "f***ing queer" in the rap have also led to a Facebook campaign calling for James to be banned from performing on the ITV singing contest this weekend.
