Tragic images have emerged of the family found dead at the million dollar Florida home of former US tennis star James Blake, as police said they believe the deaths were part of a murder suicide.
Their bodies were discovered in the burnt out mansion which the family had been renting from Blake, who retired from the game last year.
The victims have yet to be officially identified but police sources identified them as Darrin Campbell, his wife Kimberly and their teenage children Colin and Megan.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's Col Donna Lusczynski described the fire as unusual and said there were "various fireworks" throughout the Tampa Bay-area home.
The fire was intentionally set,” she said, adding. “Fireworks were found throughout the house.”
She said two of the victims appeared to have suffered from upper-body trauma. No weapons were found but police are considering the possibility of murder-suicide.
TV reporter Meredyth Censullo tweeted that the victims had “gunshot wounds to the head” and “heavy duty fireworks strapped around their heads”. She said the details came from a “source” but were not confirmed by police.
