Former Strictly Come Dancing pro James Jordan has branded the show’s judges “liars” over the shock elimination of Dev Griffin and Dianne Buswell.
The professional dancer accused the panel of not judging the show fairly as he launched into a rant about Sunday night’s dance-off.
After the judges claimed they were “shocked” to see Dev and Dianne in the bottom two couples, James claimed it was their marking that had led to the result.
He tweeted: “HOW DARE THE JUDGES SAY THEY ARE TRULY SHOCKED!!!! LIARS!!! AND ITS YOUR FAULT! FACT!
“Why can people not be more honest in the world.... The public have been watching long enough to call bullshit!
“Just mark what you see and then let the public decide... just do your job!”
James was even more infuriated when it was announced Emma Weymouth and Aljaz Skorjanec had survived the dance-off, sending home Dev and Dianne.
He wrote: “As dancers there’s absolutely no comparison DEV is far far better even though this was his weakest dance so far. Although Emma’s performance was more fun and energetic BUT the judges should be judging the dancing and public judge their favourite.”
The result equally enraged Strictly fans on Twitter, who also claimed the judges had been inconsistently marking on Saturday night, leading to Dev landing in the dance-off.
Dev told host Tess Daly that he was “gutted” to be voted out so soon, while Dianne could also be seen sobbing as the pair performed their farewell dance.
Dev’s exit is not the first time James has made his thoughts clear on this year’s Strictly.
Last week, he called for Craig Revel Horwood to be axed from the judging panel, claiming “no-one would miss him”.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One.
