Jane McDonald Claims 'Anyone' Could Be On 'Loose Women' Panel... Is She Throwing Shade At Her Old Job?

'Anyone Could Be On The 'Loose Women' Panel'

The ‘Loose Women’ panel could have been mistaken for the cast of ‘Mean Girls’ this week, after former presenter Jane McDonald was heard throwing what appeared to be some serious shade at her former employers.

Yes, you read that correctly - now that Jane has said farewell to her days of light-hearted chat with Sherrie Hewson and Andrea McLean, she reckons her time on ‘Loose Women’ didn’t actually require much skill, and pretty much anyone could wander in off the street and do the job, apparently.

Now, Jane, that can’t be right. How can just “anyone” come in and offer insight the way that Britain’s greatest minds, Myleene Klass and Coleen Nolan, do every lunchtime?

Despite casting doubt on the expertise of the remaining panelists, Jane was quick to point out that she’s still a fan of the lunch-time talk show, adding: “I still love it. I am looking forward to seeing the new people in it. I do wish it every success. I loved it for ten years.”

Over the past year or so, the ‘Loose Women’ panel has seen a real shake-up, with fan favourites Denise Welch, Carol McGiffin and, more recently, Carol Vorderman all bowing out of the show.
