A Japanese architect has built a house with a town inside four walls.
Yoshichika Takagi created 'house k' with an outdoor 'village' built into the large open space of the house.
The idea is to reference a fishing village environment, with low rooftops and collaborative spaces, within a suburban home.
The result is a dramatic, beautiful and unique house. Though why he hasn't painted a blue sky on the ceiling is beyond us.
Take a look below and let us know if you'd consider it for your next great remodelling project.
