A source close to the star claimed that the “future is certainly looking very good” for Jay.

"He's been offered every reality TV show and turned them all down. But he is open to doing some music-related TV presenting.

"He's been asked to do something for The Brits next year. A lot of people have suggested he launches a solo music career but he's not interested.”

Jay disappeared from the limelight after The Wanted announced that they were taking an extended break in January 2014, and spent a lot of time travelling the world.

He previously admitted he feared being unemployed after the series and the upcoming arena tour of the show ended.

After winning the show on Saturday, Jay admitted he couldn’t believe his luck, telling hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman: "I feel spaced-out, really weird. It's been one of the most special things I've ever done."
