Jennifer Ellison has given birth to a baby boy, who she has named Charlie.
The baby is Jennifer's third son with her husband Robbie Tickle - they also have Bobby, four, and Harry, one.
The 31-year-old former Brookside actress announced the news on Twitter.
"So happy to say Rob and I welcomed a new little man into our lives this morning at 9.37am!" she wrote. "BABY CHARLIE. We're both doing great."
Jennifer has previously said that she was hoping for another boy, and it seems she has chosen to celebrate her new baby's gender with her choice of name - as according to our baby name finder the name Charlie means: 'man' or 'free man'.Jennifer only revealed she was expecting when she was six months pregnant. She admitted the pregnancy came as something as a shock for her and Robbie, because she had previously been told by doctors that she wouldn't be able to conceive again.
Charlie wasn't Jennifer's first 'surprise' baby. She only discovered her second son Harry was on the way when she was four and a half months pregnant.
Speaking to us exclusively about her fertility problems she said:
"The word the doctors used was 'unlikely'. I have suffered with cysts on my ovaries which made it difficult to conceive. We knew we wanted another baby, but we were told it might not happen for us naturally."
