Jennifer Lawrence and Justin Bieber made friends at the Vanity Fair and Armani's Cannes Film Festival party and no, we don't know how to feel about it.
The posh par-tay, hosted by the magazine's editor Graydon Carter and Giorgio Armani at Hotel du Cap, saw the likes of Russell Crowe, Rosario Dawson, Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham mingle the night away until last-minute attendee Beieber rocked up and stole the show.
Jennifer Lawrence, who we'd had down as the coolest women in Hollywood, was allegedly over the moon to see the teeny bopper and didn't hide her fangirl excitement from anyone.
According to reports, the 23-year-old was overheard loudly saying: "I want to meet Bieber," as soon as he set a trainer-clad foot through the door.
It probably won't be too much of a surprise to hear we're not the biggest Bieber fans. We mean, how can you even begin to take a guy seriously when he wears his jeans around his knees and can often be spotted on a night out wearing a gas mask?
At the risk of sounding like our mothers, we just don't get it... And we're kind of saddened to see J-Law on team Justin Bieber.
However, Jen won back Brownie points when she revealed her hiccup cure on the Cannes 2014 red carpet. "Seriously, I need some water now," she was heard exclaiming at the glitzy film festival.
"The only thing that ever works for getting rid of hiccups for me is when I drink water and raise my arms over my head and lower them very slowly." We'll have to take note of that one and try it for ourselves.
