It’s been almost two decades since Jennifer Lopez wowed us all on the 2000 Grammy Awards red carpet in that iconic plunging Versace palm print gown.

Fast forward 19 years and J-Lo was at it again on the runway of Versace’s Spring 2020 show at Milan Fashion Week, as the actress and singer paid tribute to the dress that has gone down in fashion history - and led to the invention of Google images.

Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt revealed there were so many searches for photos of the original dress after the Grammys that it inspired them to create Google Images.

Prior to Friday’s show, VIPs were sent invites featuring the familiar green palm leaf print, hinting that they were in for something a little nostalgic - and very rather special.

According to WWD, the runway ended with a voiceover of Donatella Versace asking Google to show her pictures of the original dress.

As images of J-Lo in the dress appeared on screens around the room, guests then heard Versace ask to see the real thing.

Cue Jennifer appearing in an even more daring version of the dress to close the show - much to the delight of the fashionista crowd and pretty much the entire internet.
