All the ol’ gang are back together in the latest teaser for Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond’s new Amazon Prime series.
The former ‘Top Gear’ trio appear together in a new clip, where it becomes evident pretty quickly they’re still struggling to come up with a name for the new show, due to begin streaming on the service later this year.
In the new clip, which is sure to go down well with fans of the team’s tenure as presenters on ‘Top Gear’, Jeremy lists his favourite names for rivers, Richard laments about his Internet browsing history and James tucks into a custard cream, … but one thing they do not do is come up with a name.
The clip ends with the message: “#TheSTILLVeryMuchEntitledClarksonHammondMayAmazonPrimeShowComingAutumn2016”
Jeremy Clarkson recently spoke about the difficulties he was having coming up with a name for the show, writing in his column for the Sunday Times: “Every morning, I’d make a £7,000 call to the lawyer with an idea, and every afternoon I’d get a £7,000 reply saying the name was already in use by someone in New Zealand or France or Ukraine. Prime Torque. Autonation. Skid Mark. Everything was a no-no.
Meanwhile, the new series of ‘Top Gear’, with Chris Evans and Matt LeBlanc at the helm, is due to make its much-anticipated debut on the BBC next month.
