His steely-eyed gaze has melted hearts across the world, so it will come as little surprise to hear that “hot convict” Jeremy Meeks has been offered a modelling contract.
According to media reports, the convicted felon has scored a $30,000 deal with Blaze Modelz in Los Angeles (just as soon as he gets out of jail, presumably).
Modelling agent Gina Rodriguez announced the news on Tuesday, Radio Alice reports.

But Rodriguez, whose stable of "talent" also includes 'Teen Mom' Farrah Abraham, ‘Tanning Mom’ Patricia Krentcil and Lindsay Lohan’s Dad Michael has apparently been receiving death threats since her name was professionally linked with Meeks.

TMZ writes Rodriguez has filed a report with the LA County Sheriff’s Department, complaining of around 30 harassing phone calls from “gangster-sounding” people, with one threatening to blow her head off and saying she deserved to die.
Meeks is being held on $1,050,000 bail after his arrest on seven felony charges, including "street terrorism," and two misdemeanours for resisting arrest and revocation of parole, the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office says.
The 30-year-old has had numerous run-ins with the law and the Los Angeles Times reports he is a documented member of the Northside Gangster Crips, though his family insists he has put those connections behind him.
Meeks has spoken to media from prison
Meeks’s mother has set up a website to raise money for his bail where she insists he has a job and no gang affiliations but that his tattoos are causing him to be stereotyped.
Katherine Angier said: “He is a working man with a son. He is being stereotyped due to old tattoos.”
