Jessica Simpson's clothing line - The Jessica Simpson Collection - includes 30 product categories including shoes, sunglasses, jewellery, dresses and FYI the brand rakes in a killer $1 billion a year.
Holy moly, how does Simpson do it? Well, she claims to know exactly what regular women want when it comes to fashion and accessories.
At a keynote Q&A during last week's annual Forbes Power Women summit Jessica told audiences: "I want to make every woman feel confident in what they're wearing.
"I do feel like we're very fashion-forward, but we also listen to the consumer."
You've got to hand it to the popstar turned retail entrepreneur, she's done her research and she knows her customer.
Simpson also knows the score on quality and comfort which is why her collections are so sell-out. "I have been every size on the planet and I understand women.
"And I just know how to dress them. I know there's all different kinds. There's life in the whole world beyond LA and New York. I understand Middle America and their mindset."
The next big venture for Simpson's billion dollar brand? Think home and baby collections. "People will be sleeping on my bedspreads!" she announced.
