J.K. Rowling wasn’t quite as enamored with those pics of ‘Harry Potter’ star Matthew Lewis in his pants as the rest of us, it seems.

The actor, who played Neville Longbottom in the film franchise, set the internet alight on Thursday when a series of pictures of him in various states of undress, courtesy of Attitude magazine, surfaced.

But JK, who has known the 24-year-old since he was barely out of nappies, was more shocked than impressed, and urged Matthew to ‘put some clothes on’ in a series of tweets.

"I will always support you whatever you want to do, Matthew. Now go put some clothes on," she tweeted.

However, the 49-year-old writer - who is currently working on the script for 'Harry Potter' spin-off film 'Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them' - admitted the risqué shoot wasn't quite as bad as witnessing Daniel Radcliffe baring all on-stage in 'Equus' on London's West End.

"Not as bad as watching Dan in Equus, but close. Warn me next time, for God's sake," she added.

And although the author caught a glimpse of Matthew’s provocative photos, she insisted she wouldn’t know if he looked good in the snaps as she didn’t look at them long enough.

Replying to another Twitter user who referred to Matthew as 'Neville Pertbottom', she joked: "I wouldn't know. I hastily averted my eyes and read an article on Political Correctness to get over the shock."
