The man accused of killing Labour MP Jo Cox will reportedly stand trial for her murder in November.
Thomas Mair, 52, appeared via video-link from Belmarsh prison at the Old Bailey on Thursday where he confirmed his name, and appeared to take notes throughout the appearance, according to the Press Association.
The 52-year-old is accused of shooting and stabbing Cox, 41, outside her constituency surgery in Birstall, near Leeds, last Thursday.
He is charged with murder, grievous bodily harm, possession of a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence and possession of an offensive weapon.
Mair appeared amid a list of terror-related cases to be heard by Mr Justice Saunders, who set a trial date of November 14. Mair is due to enter a plea on October 4.
Mair, from Birstall, is in custody and his case is being handled under the "terrorism protocol".
The hearing comes the day after Cox's widower Brendan and their two young children marked what would have been her 42nd birthday.
