Green party leader Natalie Bennett has laughed off being called by the wrong name in an interview on BBC Radio 4's Today programme this morning.
Veteran presenter John Humphrys finished their exchange by thanking "Caroline Lucas", who was the party's only MP in the last parliament. "Woah, there's a Freudian slip," he said. "I do apologise."
Of course nothing is worse (or better) than when James Naughtie mangled Jeremy Hunt's name with profane results. Naughtie accidentally replaced the "H" at the start of Hunt's last name with a "C." He descended into a coughing fit right afterwards.
