Saint Laurent's creative director, Hedi Slimane, has signed up legendary singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell to star in the brand's January 2015 Music Project.

Saint Laurent made the announcement on Twitter by sharing the black and white campaign photos taken by Slimane himself at the 71-year-old's California home, guitar in hand.
And yes, she's wearing custom made YSL - check that cape and fedora hat.
The French fashion house also revealed that additional images will be released in this month's V Magazine. We need to see them immediately.
That 1970s catwalk trend just got cooler, and with Mitchell fronting this Saint Laurent campaign that fabulous folksy style is sure to be a favourite this Spring/Summer.
As for Joni's sound? That will never go out of style. We LOVE this collaboration.
