For months the world has been convinced Kim Kardashian would marry Kanye West in a lavish and romantic ceremony in Paris.
And while the French capital will be the setting for their rehearsal dinner, the actual wedding will take place next weekend in Florence, Italy, and Kanye West has now revealed why.
According to MailOnline, West spoke about his love of the city to La Nazione newspaper and also explained that his connection to the city runs far deeper - because he believes daughter North West was conceived there.
"I adore Florence. I love Italy and Italian lifestyle," he said. "To tell you the truth, I already came to the bank of the Arno [river] with Kim last year, just the two of us, incognito.
"I think that our daughter North was conceived here among the Renaissance masterpieces. It was our first honeymoon. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world - for me the most beautiful in Europe."
West also revealed he's working on a new album called Made in Florence.
Reports suggest the couple will marry in at Forte Belvedere - a 16th century castle and fortress.
And while the venue can host up to 1,000 people, we were kind of surprised to hear that Anna Wintour, editor of US Vogue, has turned down the invite to see Kanye and Kim exchange vows.
Kanye has been showing his romantic side recently and he surprised his fiancée with a wall of flowers for Mother's Day.
So the big day is just days away now... we can't wait to see the dress!
Want more Kim? Well here you go...
