Her husband is fighting the biggest political battle of his life. But, that hasn't stopped the wife of a rising Labour MP from trying to steal some of his limelight by posting what some might say is her most most gratuitous selfie yet.
Simon Danczuk, 47, has seen his standing in parliament grow significantly by leading calls for a wider public inquiry into alleged child abuse by a paedophile ring in Westminster.
The Rochdale MP was even praised on Thursday for "being unafraid to ask the difficult questions" by the ConservativeHome blog.
The day before the interview was published, his local councillor wife seemed intent on trying to grab some headlines of her own.
Nearly all of the replies to Karen Danczuk's tweet acknowledge its provocative nature, with the simplest saying: "Cracking rack."
The 31-year-old has managed to turn gardening, going to the pub and putting on a cardigan into tantalising fare for her 6,000 Twitter followers. In the last week, she has posted 11 revealing pictures of herself.
Mr Danczuk has previously moved to defend his wife, 16 years his junior, saying on Twitter: "Proud of my wife - beauty and brains!"

The timing of the most recent one - one of the more blatant she has posted - could detract from Simon Danczuk's bid to become an increasingly more credible backbencher in his party.
In his ConservativeHome profile, Mr Danczuk is admiringly described as a huge boost for his party.
"If the Labour Party had more MPs like Simon Danczuk, the Conservatives would have scant chance of winning the next general election," the profile said.
Mrs Danczuk, who runs a deli as well as being a Labour councillor, has previously retweeted articles about her selfies.
She has defended her pictures, denying she is an "attention seeker", claiming the angle they are taken at is due to the fact they are selfies.
"Because I’m taking them myself, yes, they come out on a bit of an angle but they’re not supposed to be sexy," she told the Daily Mail.
"I’m not an attention seeker. I don’t roll out of clubs drunk. I’m not silly. I’m not a crazy party animal. I’m not a girly girl and I rarely wear make-up. In fact, I’m quite a tomboy."
Mr Danczuk has previously tweeted: "Why am I losing Twitter followers and my wife is gaining them?"
