Shortly after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited the National Arboretum in Canberra on the penultimate day of their Royal Tour, the couple attended a reception hosted by the Governor General at Canberra's Government House, Yarralumla.
Of course, this meant an outfit change was required for Duchess Kate. She swapped her green Catherine Walker coat dress for an ivory shift the US label Lela Rose.
Kate paired the lace detail dress with black suede court shoes (a change from her staple nude pair!) and a matching clutch bag.
Although this Lela Rose design costs almost £900, it has already sold out at American retailer Nordstrom.
And it wasn't just the shoes that looked different with this outfit. Kate swept her hair back into a low chignon - the perfect updo to show off her drop diamond earrings.
Before William and Kate's visit to the Governor's house, the couple expressed their sadness over the death of the Duchess of Cornwall's younger brother.
"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were saddened to learn this morning of the tragic death of Mark Shand," their statement read.
"Their thoughts are with the Duchess of Cornwall and her family at this time."
The couple will return home on Friday after a three-week tour of Australia and New Zealand.
"Reluctantly, Catherine, George and I leave Australia tomorrow," William said during a speech at Parliament House.
"Thank you for the warmth and generosity that has been shown to us during our visit. We go away with wonderful memories, and George goes away with his cuddly wombat which he has taken to chewing so lovingly."
