Kate Middleton is eight months pregnant, but was looking better than ever in a Dalmation-print coat for a visit to the Turner Contemporary gallery in Margate, Kent, on Wednesday. Sigh.
The on-trend coat is from high street store Hobbs, and the duchess wore it back in 2013 for a tour of the Royal Princess cruise ship when she was pregnant with Prince George.
Kate paired the mac with a Mulberry clutch and black heels, and wore her hair in a sleek ponytail for her second public engagement of the week, following her attendance at the Commonwealth Day celebrations.
The Turner Contemporary is an affiliate of the National Portrait Gallery, of which Kate is patron, reports the Daily Mail. She's a huge art fan, having done a degree in History of Art at the University of St Andrew's.
According to Rex Features, Kate visited the 'Self: Image and Identity' exhibition, which includes the last self-portrait by Sir Anthony Van Dyck, recently acquired for the nation by the National Portrait Gallery through a public appeal with The Art Fund.
The duchess toured the gallery and met artists whose works are in the exhibition. As usual, Kate took everything in her stride, but perhaps looked a tiny bit baffled when she got to appreciate a sculpture called Self Portrait As A Drowned Man by local artist Jeremy Millar.
She also saw how Turner Contemporary engages with the local community in the Clore Learning Studio, where she met local school children involved in an art project, and also met a group of young women who have been working with local artist Felicity Allen.
Kate then attended a brief reception and met staff and supporters of the gallery, before seeing the exhibition 'Mr Lion 14' by Blank Canvas, Turner Contemporary's inter-generational community group.
