As royal-watchers eagerly await the day Kate Middleton announces her pregnancy, one cheeky well-wisher could not resist asking the duchess about her plans for babies!
As the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wowed the crowds on a walkabout in Quebec City during their official visit to Canada, Kate stopped to accept a bouquet from two-year-old Raffaela Cheater, daughter of ex-pat David, 28.
As Kate complimented him on his 'beautiful' little girl, Mr Cheater told her he wished her well in her own endeavours to start a family.
In what is believed to be Kate's first public comment on becoming pregnant, the duchess smiled and told Mr Cheater: 'Yes, I hope to.'
If Kate follows in Royal tradition, then there could be news of a Windsor junior imminently - Prince Charles and Princess Diana welcomed Prince William just 11 months after their wedding, whilst the Queen and Prince Philip had Prince Charles just under a year after theirs.
Do you think Kate and William will have a baby sooner rather than later?
Or can you see them enjoying married life for a while first, and delaying parenthood for a few years?
