Kate Middleton and Princes William and Harry have joined Twitter!
The three royals are sharing the @KensigntonRoyal account which describes itself as "Updates, pictures and videos from Kensington Palace, about The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry and their Royal Foundation."
Unfortunately, this doesn't mean Kate, her husband or her brother-in-law will actually be running the account - but their arrival on the social network has gone down well so far. After they joined on
Wednesday morning, @KensingtonPalace had gained 20,00 followers within the first hour.
It's not the first royal account, though. @BritishMonarchy, set up in 2009, has already welcomed the new users with a friendly tweet and @ClarenceHouse has been sending out news on the Prince of Wales and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall since 2010.
Does this mean we'll get to see even more adorable pictures of Prince George and his baby brother or sister when he or she is born? (The royal couple have confirmed their new arrival's due date is April.)
In other Kate Middleton news, a Californian artist is making hyperrealistic celebrity dolls - and selling them for a whopping £3,300 on eBay. His latest creation? A Duchess of Cambridge version. And it really is pretty lifelike (if a little creepy).
