Before she was the Duchess of Cambridge, there was a time when Kate Middleton celebrated Halloween just like the rest of us - in a dingy nightclub wearing a sparkly little black dress with an all-important cape in the hope of looking like a sexy witch.
Don't believe us? Here's a throwback picture of Kate, who was 25 at the time, and her younger sister Pippa, she was 23, leaving London's Mahiki in October 2007.
Yes, she's wearing fishnets (a Halloween essential for girls who don't want to go dressed as a 'sexy blue crayon' or a 'sexy bumblebee.') As for Pippa? We're still not sure what her costume was inspired by - something to do with a pumpkin perhaps?
As Us Weekly reminds us, Kate had recently broken up with Prince William around the time this photo was taken - she had been dating the royal after they met at St. Andrews University but the couple went on a temporary break in March 2007.
After a few months apart, Kate and William got back together in the summer of that year and the rest is history.
Sadly, with royal baby number two on the way, we've got a feeling Kate's nights out wearing a cape to Mahiki are over.
