Former Tory MP Ann Widdicombe has told Katherine Jenkins to "lighten up" after she demanded a holidaymaker be thrown out of her hotel when she caught him taking pictures of her.
After the incident occurred Kath took to Twitter to address the man directly. "Dear creepy guy who sneaked into my hotel to take pics of me - u'r a disgrace," she wrote.
"You broke the law by trespassing so if you do anything with those pics, the police will get the photo I took of you #TwoCanPlayThatGame."
In an article for the Express Widdicombe claimed Katherine shouldn't have blown her lid, writing: "My dear, you are a celebrity and a very good-looking one at that.
"People who take photos without permission are ill-mannered but do not merit all this furore unless you were sunbathing privately at home or were actually inside your hotel bedroom."
She continued: "What you do in public may be publicly circulated. That is the law of the celebrity jungle. You do not like it. I do not like it. But we have a choice: it is called obscurity." Burn!
What do you make of Widdy's comments? Unfounded or totally spot on?
