'I Don't Care About Baby Name Criticism'

Katie Price has fired back at critics, who have panned the name she chose for her newborn baby girl.

The former glamour model gave birth to her fifth child last month, but kept us hanging for a few weeks before finally revealing that she’d decided to name her latest arrival Bunny.

That’s right, Bunny.

Perhaps understandably, not everyone was a fan of The Pricey’s choice of name, but luckily for her it doesn’t sound like she’s too fazed by the criticism.

Writing in her column in the latest issue of Now magazine - which, sadly, is to be her last for a while - she says: “Soft, cute cuddly, unique, but most of all fun. Some might say these words describe me but my new baby girl is all of these and reminds me of a Bunny.

“Bunny is an old-fashioned name and I love it. Some may ridicule our choice and some will love it - I really don’t care to be honest.”

Katie also insists that she and husband Kieran Hayler picked their second child’s name together, adding: “Kieran and I chose Bunny and Jett’s names together, just like Pete and I chose Junior and Princess’s names together; Harvey is named after my grandad.”

After revealing her *ahem* unusual choice of baby name earlier this month, Katie previously told OK! about some of the names she considered that were ultimately not chosen, which included Lady, Disney, Precious, Bambi, Ethel, Peggy and Duchess Kate - a fitting tribute to our future Queen if ever there was one.
