The former glamour model has changed her plea, after previously claiming she was "definitely" not guilty of the charges.

Katie Price has pleaded guilty to hurling a “tirade of abuse” during a dispute with her ex-partner’s girlfriend outside a school.

The reality star appeared at Horsham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, having previously denied two charges of using threatening and abusive words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress at a hearing in March.

The row with Michelle Penticost, who is now dating Katie’s ex-husband Kieran Hayler, took place in September last year, and was witnessed by two of the school’s teachers.

Katie’s defence lawyer Paul Macauley said the incident – which included the former glamour model calling Michelle a “fucking c***” – was sparked by the discovery that Kieran was in a new relationship.

The judge ruled that Katie should pay £606 – including a £450 fine and court costs – which she offered to do via credit card. She was also given a five-year restraining order, forbidding her from contacting Michelle Penticost directly or indirectly.

After the hearing, Katie told reporters outside court: “I did swear but the rest is just exaggerated nonsense. This incident was nine months ago in the playground.

“Since this we have all been in the same school together and there have been no further problems. I feel totally intimidated and isolated from anyone at the school and it’s not fair on the children in creating this atmosphere.

“I feel I have no option than to move the children from the school. This was a one-off incident and as you all know I’m against bullying or anything like that, which is why I’m doing my Harvey’s Law.”

Katie added to PA that she doesn’t feel sorry, adding: “I didn’t do anything that bad.”

Back in March, Katie failed to attend an initial hearing on the matter, for which she was slammed by District Judge Amanda Kelly, for showing “a lack of respect for the whole court system”.

A second hearing was scheduled for a week later, which is where Katie entered her initial not guilty plea, insisting at the time the accusations were “definitely” not true.

This case marks the third of Katie’s legal battles in 2019, having been banned from driving for three months back in February, after it was found she was nearly twice the legal alcohol limit while at the wheel of her pink Range Rover.

Katie tied the knot with Kieran Hayler in 2013, though they are now estranged.

Her current boyfriend Kris Boyson appeared in court on Friday, accused of threatening a police officer after a row with a paparazzo photographer.

This case was adjourned after new evidence came to light.
