They may have been divorced for almost seven years now, but that doesn’t mean Katie Price and Peter Andre don’t still know how to get us talking.
The former royal couple of reality TV haven’t exactly seen eye-to-eye since their divorce in 2009, repeatedly taking pops at one another at any given opportunity.
Katie even famously said she would “never speak to him again”, despite the fact they have two children together, and yet they’ve now sent a clear signal that they’re finally ready to let bygones be bygones.
More specifically, they’ve sent emojis.

Seemingly out of the blue, Peter raised eyebrows (at least in the HuffPost UK Entertainment office) when he sent his ex-wife a tweet, containing simply the image of a smiling emoji:
The former glamour model and ‘Loose Women’ presenter quickly responded with an emoji-heavy message of her own, containing a winking face and two crying-laughing faces:
They say a picture paints a thousand words but an emoji… does not. We’re stumped.
Katie and Peter met while they were both taking part in the third series of ‘I’m A Celebrity’, eventually going on to get married and have two children together.
After tying the knot, the couple became two of Britain’s most notorious celebrities, with magazine deals, reality shows and, yes, even the most ill-advised duets album in history falling at their feet during their marriage.
Since their split, Katie was briefly married to cage fighter Alex Reid, before getting together with Kieran Hayler, with whom she has two more children.
Peter, meanwhile, is now with junior doctor Emily MacDonagh, who he married in a lavish ceremony last year, six months after the birth of their daughter.
