Chat show host Ellen Degeneres, who served as an exec on ‘One Big Happy’, is said to be keen to work with her “friend” Kelly again, as her “unique qualities” appeal to Americans.
“They thought she did a fine job on the show.
“Their next challenge is to find her a vehicle which works, and it will likely mean her needing to find an English role - just how good her US accent us remains to be seen."

The insider added: "Kelly also has a great ally in Ellen. She was bitterly disappointed about the axing and is never one to take a defeat lying down."
After ‘One Big Happy’ was axed, Kelly took to Twitter to share her disappointment.
“Going to miss my @NBCOneBigHappy Family a lot but so grateful for the experience and the most amazing opportunities it has brought to me,” she wrote.
She has since traveled to the Cannes Film Festival where she put in a show-stopping appearance last night.

There was no sign of her current squeeze Jeremy Parisi though, who she began dating earlier this year, following her break-up with on-off lover David McIntosh.
