Rob Drydek isn't your average professional skateboarder. After all, his online bio reads: "Rob Dyrdek is beyond characterization; he is not a personality who can be simplified into a sound bite."
So that's us told.
He's also the man who pulled off a kickflip over a giant skateboard this Saturday at the Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park in Santa Clarita, California.
But he didn't perform the kickflip on a skateboard, no sir - he performed it in a car. A Chevy Sonic, to be precise, a tiny sub-compact that soared through the air like... well, like a tiny car soaring through the air.
Landing on the ground with a hefty bump, it looks at first like something might have gone wrong, but then a winning smile beams off Drydek's face and all is well again.
Of course this was all set up as a publicity stunt for Chevrolet, but then again, not all publicity stunts involve cars doing kickflips, now do they? Well exactly...
