Kim Kardashian has come under fire after telling pregnant women to 'never leave the house' – but the reality TV star insists she was only joking.
Kim made the comments in an interview with ELLE magazine in which she told expectant mums to cover up under a 'huge blanket'.
But after being criticised for her quip, Kim took to Twitter to insist there had been a misunderstanding.
She hit back:
Kim's Twitter rant came after she offered some hard-earned wisdom on maternity style during the interview with sisters Kourtney and Khloe.
When asked about pregnancy style tips Kim replied: "I recommend hiding for a good year and having no pregnancy style...that's what I recommend.
"If you can do it, hide. Never leave the house."
Her little sister Khloe chipped in, saying: "Okay, well that's not practical. Give a different answer."
Kim replied: "That's really my recommendation. Wear a huge blanket."
Kim gained more than three stone while she was pregnant with North and last year revealed that criticism about her weight gain really upset her.
